Backed by a key partnership with Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), DrivenBus offers a safe, convenient and fully regulated shuttle service for workers across the city, addressing a need for formal and reliable transport options between residential areas and workplaces.

Why DrivenBus? Addressing Dubai’s Transport Needs

Many workers in Dubai currently rely on informal or unregulated car-lift services, which can often come with reliability issues and risks to safety. DrivenBus was created to tackle these challenges head-on. With a fleet of brand-new 2024 Toyota Hiace and Toyota Coaster buses, our service offers peace of mind, improved safety and regulatory oversight. Our service will significantly raise safety standards while providing workers with easier access to essential workplace areas.

Our aims are clear:

• Reducing Congestion: By streamlining routes and reducing the number of single-occupancy vehicles on the road, we aim to alleviate traffic congestion, contributing to a smoother and more sustainable urban environment.
• Enhancing Safety Standards: DrivenBus operates under strict safety protocols that elevate worker transport beyond the standards of existing informal options.
• Increasing Accessibility: Workers can now reach their destinations with ease, as we cater to commonly travelled routes that serve key residential and workplace areas.
• Digitising the Commute: With a fully integrated DrivenBus app available in all app stores, passengers can conveniently book their rides and track their trips, creating a reliable, data-driven system that allows us to analyse routes, improve services, and quickly introduce new routes to meet worker demand.
• Building a Regulated Network: Our B2C shuttle routes, initially launched with 30 vehicles, form part of a broader vision to establish a regulated, reliable network of commuter routes. The goal is to ensure that every worker who uses Carlift can book and travel with confidence.

We know that accessibility also means flexibility in how workers can plan and pay for their trips. DrivenBus offers a range of payment options to make booking hassle-free. Users can easily book their rides through the DrivenBus app, now available across all major app stores. Additionally, passengers can pay on board using contactless payment methods, including Nol cards, or they can pay in cash at our Al Rigga offices.
